# We Were Distracted

On June 2, [Candy Chang](http://candychang.com/?ref=jamesreeves.co) and I will be at the Mint Museum in Charlotte, North Carolina, to discuss our *[Light the Barricades](http://jamesr323.sg-host.com/light-the-barricades/?ref=jamesreeves.co)* installation and talk about ritual, doubt, and art with artist-theologian [de’Angelo Dia](https://dia1518.com/home.html?ref=jamesreeves.co).

This discussion will be part of the opening celebration for the [*WALLS: Defend, Divide, and the Divine*](https://mintmuseum.org/walls/light-the-barricades/?ref=jamesreeves.co) exhibition at the Mint. Food trucks, cash bar, DJ Fannie Mae, and complimentary museum admission.
