# Crocodile Eye

I made [two songs](https://jamesreeves.bandcamp.com/album/crocodile-eye?ref=jamesreeves.co) this month made while writing and painting and learning about minor chords. 

The title track comes from a wild dream I had about killing a digital crocodile by carving an ancient glyph into its eye, and it contains a looped bit from the three-thousand-year-old Maitri Upanishad read by Paul Casselle in [episode 14](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nlMpxUYKTcU&list=PLR7yrLMHm11X6-M%5FusCj5H-gdstyWNLXQ&index=17&t=1792s&ref=jamesreeves.co) of Paul Cooper's excellent *Fall of Civilizations* series.
